Welcome to Booterstown Community Centre
AVAILABILITY NOTICE
Booterstown Community Centre is a self-supporting one-room community centre run by local volunteers.
Regrettably, due to a reduced number of active volunteers, the centre is currently obliged to focus on the primary needs identified in the local community for:
WEEKDAYS
Montessori Pre school and After school services each weekday.
- We will continue to support the Montessori Pre school and After school services each weekday.
We are currently unable to support any evening* activities on weekdays.
*On an exceptional basis, a member of committee will seek to support the holding of an AGM or a once-off urgent public consultation meeting for local Residents Associations by specific arrangement.
WEEKENDS
Existing weekend meetings.
- We will continue to support the existing meetings that take place in the centre at weekends (these include the long established weekly Sunday Alcoholics Anonymous meeting).
We are currently unable to support any new weekend activities.

If you are new to the area you are particularly welcome. Our centre is a delightfully bright, warm and welcoming modern building. Our main focus is on providing facilities to meet the needs of the local community. We are situated in Grotto Avenue behind the Old Boys National School building, just off Rock Road near the Punchbowl and opposite the DART station (See Contact menu tab for Directions)
If you have any ideas for an appropriate social activity open to all local people and would be prepared to come and join us to support your ideas we would be delighted to hear from you.
From the outset our Community Centre has been an inclusive project born in the hearts of many dedicated local people in Booterstown and brought to completion by the generous donations of many in the early 1990s.
We look forward to seeing you.
